Clyde Resident, Tim Nickels, Launches New Craft-Made Seltzer Brand
Clyde, NY, February 10, 2023 - Former US Army Captain, Retired New York City Police Officer, co-founder of DNT Express and longtime Clyde resident, Tim Nickels, is proud to formally introduce Hinny Hard Seltzer to the NY market.
“It’s been a long time coming. It has not always been easy, but we did it,” said Nickels, founder of Hinny Hard Seltzer. “ Hinny is here and it’s here to stay.”
After more than two years in the making - spent formulating, testing and planning for production - Hinny Hard Seltzer is now available for sale at a growing number of bars, restaurants and retailer locations across Upstate and Central NY. The new hard seltzer, which is being offered as a variety 12-pack at retail locations, comes in four distinct flavors, including blueberry mint, bourbon-flavored, cranberry and black cherry.
“Our flavor profiles are unlike anything else available today,” added Nickels. “We are receiving a tremendous response from consumers thus far.”
Later this year, Nickels plans to introduce new seasonal flavors which include grape and pink grapefruit.
About Tim Nickels
Nickels served as an enlisted member of the US Army and then took a commission in the US Army Reserve all the while being a dedicated member of the law enforcement community for more than twenty years. Upon retiring from NYPD, he went on to co-found DNT Express in Menands, NY and then extend their operations to Clyde, NY in 2010. Working with local vineyards and small distributors, DNT Express became a top-tier warehouse and delivery service of wine and spirits for more than 4,000 retail locations across Upstate New York. DNT Express was sold in December 2020. It was shortly after this that Hinny Hard Selter was formed.
